I love music like this

A song about the emptiness within a person who has not built themself up and into something that he or she sees value in.

It's so weird because sorry but I don't like the band, I don't like his style. I don't like how he sings his voice, I don't like the beat, but I love this song. It's very confusing.

It's way more confusing when you hear the last Stabbing Westward album. There was maybe one good song, it was just a lot of mellowness, and uhhh like not like this band at all. It was basically when the singer puts out a solo album but decides to have his band help in some small parts.

It can work (Tom Petty) but not for Stabbing W's singer. He started another band on his own Dream something, I forget, but yea. Stuff is so old. Your comment confused me, but in a good way.

Can't rain all the time...

I have always loved this song...heard it first when I was a little girl. It expressed and expresses alot how I felt and feel...it is a very sad song of emptyness...some are cursed to this emptyness eternally for their horrors and for haunting and hurting innocent people and tearing their families and loved ones apart.

This song tries to explain in abstract what religion tries to convince people otherwise. That hope is a grand illusion. The truth is, we're all doomed to die alone and suffer in great pain before an end in which none of us ever made a difference in an indifferent Universe. In the end, our lives have meant - nothing. That's the great pain we all share but are too afraid to say. Embracing that is the first step out of depression.

Why the hell isn't this song available on ITunes? 🙁

Cynthia Buford, I went to their 2001 concert and not only was it amazingly affordable, but SW did a Fantastic and LONG show!

They don't sound the same no, but they evoke the same feelings inside while listening... for me at least, and apparently for Ella too.

This is so amazing! Stabbing Westward reminds me a lot of Nine Inch Nails, which is another favorite artist of mine. They are both so incredible in my opinion.

this song has made me question my blind praise to trent as the best artist of his genre lol he still is but god damn this song tops a lot of his and is in a category of its own....

Daniel DeMayo Trent Reznor and Chris Hall are both fantastic artists. They have a lot of similarities to their styles of music. I will ALWAYS be a fan of Trent Reznor, that's for damn sure.😜👍🏻

the perfection of stabbing westward right here they were such a great band :). sadly there label had them in debt and they had to break up the band and the touring stopped. there self title was there last one which was released in 2002.but ever since the lead singer chris joined a new band. called THE DREAMING he has been on tour with them but i liked him in his own band he was more out there and had more wiggle room to be himself well his lyrics at least :) what a great voice and artist
