Saw the Human Touch Tour 2 nts running at Wembley Arena in 92 v close to the stage and whilst there was no ESB, the musicians were excellent. Thought there were some great tracks on Human Touch n Lucky Town

Diane, you are absolutely right. I know that many Springsteen purists (of whom I'm the die-hardest) poo-poo on those two albums, and his temporary deviation from the ESB. Whatever the reasons are none of my business, but the double albums were, and still are, amazing works. And then he and the new band went on to boof over MTV with the greatest live TV concert ever, his "MTV Unplugged Plugged" concert (search it here on YT), where he was supposed to go acoustic like everyone else in the series but decided at the last minute to just screw that plan and blow the roof off the place with his entire new band.


Like you, I also got to see the Human Touch tour two nights in a row, here in America. Massachusetts. It was a mighty struggle to get the tickets and then to get to the shows, but the struggle was well worth it.

Seeing Bruce and the E-Street Band is like going to St. Peter's and actually seeing Andy Kaufman. In other words it's a Leap of Faith that Bruce/Patti/The Clemons etcc will always carry the day and a voice of the people.

This is such a great video for an underrated song; Fabulous! It deserves way more views.

Well, for myself, I actually prefer Human Touch / Lucky Town to anything Bruce has put out starting with the Rising, forward.

Magic is really great another masterpiece!
Working On A Dream is very very good,

Wrecking Ball is very decent

And Western Stars is already a masterpiece.

@Lucas Lima It's not radical to me at all !! I love the upbeat, positive tone of these records - not to mention the EXCELLENT Studio musicians backing him. The muddy, blah Production by Brendan O'Obrien on the Rising was a HUGE disappointment.

And like you said i also enjoy too much the upbeat and positive tone in these albums, in particular The Rising & Magic ❤❤, however Working On A Dream, Wrecking Ball & High Hopes it's very great too in this point, Even Western Stars had a very positive tone, and for me it's another masterpiece by the Boss!!!.
