Whats strange is listening to music you would consider a pinnacle of an accomplishment had you written it yourself if you were that good, only to see how unpopular it is. Something very strange indeed, and its not us. Its everyone else.

Hands down favorite SB song

I've been exposed to Spock's Beard for a long time and was never completely blown away until hearing this song at work. This song is a journey for so many styles of music for me. Technical, progressive, smooth... But the GROOOOVE... No other way to describe this song. The groove rules.

One of my great laments is that progressive music is on the "fringe", and gets no mainstream support (no promotion, no sales). I cannot fathom how an avid rock music listener cannot love this music. Thank God for the 70's or we wouldn't have this genre at all. I am so damn glad that some of the older progressive artists are still at it, and while I have to hunt them a little, I also love the newer prog artists. Steven Wilson, as you mentioned is a genius. THIS MUSIC NEEDS TO BE PLAYED!

This album is amazing! I've been a long time SB fan, this is quite possibly the best album they've ever produced!

'Something Very Strange' that this song only has 1,120 views in almost 3 months since being posted. One of the top 3 progressive albums of 2013 so far, and this song is probably the best song on this excellent album.

The other top 2 progressive albums for me are 'The Raven That Refused To Sing' by "Steven Wilson" & 'Echo Street' by "Amplifier"
