When Neal, their original lead singer, left, he became their lead singer for about 4 albums (Feel Euphoria, Octane, self-titled, and X). Live, he also plays guitar (as shown here) and keyboards.

And they ALL do backup vocals, no matter the instrument.

A thought: with Nick I hear SB, with Neil I hear... Neil, Neil Morse Band, Transarlantic, etc... And in songs like 'Edge of the In-Between' for example, Nick's voice... the rest is personal. hi hi.  (PS' I'm still a huge fan of Neil)

Strangest, but one of the BEST voices I've ever heard.

damn this makes me wanna hear neal sing this...his voice just has that nice, easy on the ears timbre...nick is a bit of a more natural vocal riffer but his voice is little edgy for this material...at least to my ears...I love that iconic alan morse red strat...he's such a great guitar player for all the right reasons
