Got this LP in Sept '80 after seeing a vid for "I Got You" and immediately fell in love with it - a Creem writer described it as "a Sparks-type rollercoaster ride" and that made my mind up too since I love Sparks - nonstop fun, great tunes, love every track but this one really hitz home, ha.

+David Joseph Anthony Taylor It's in a different key, but it's the same sort of strum pattern. Neil's recounted how he wrote I Got You while Tim was in the other room writing Nobody Takes Me Seriously, so the songs definitely influenced each other.
