I wonder if this is about drugs.

drugs and songs about drug use are a constant theme in his music. the man was a serious heroin addict, not to mention all the other chemicals he sings about. on his last record the album cover read "huh?" because he'd become quite ill (i think liver disease, maybe cancer, but I don't remember) and the drugs he had to take clouded his mind... basically all of his work has drugs somewhere stitched into the lyrics, album titles etc... he's brilliant, though. his work has helped me through some hard times.

It would be fitting if it was , because it was played at the end of Chris' episode in skins , and he was a notorious drug taker

Most things are about drugs! It’s all about points of view, perception and interpretation. Most love songs I perceive as drug related. Fall in love, things are great, it goes sour and you miss your love. Totally drug related! I love coming down listening to Spiritualized! Its comforting and very relatable! But what do I know?
