Spinners, The - Since I Been Gone Lyrics

Since I been gone
Who you been loving baby
Since I been gone
Who you been hugging
Since I been gone
Who you been loving baby
Since I been gone

Seems to my surprise
There's no time for me when I wonder
Things have changed between you and me
Now it's plain to see I'm alone
And on my own
As time goes by I discover
All the things you said weren't quiet true
I admit that jealousy has a hold on me
Since I can't have you

Since I been gone
Who you been loving baby
Since I been gone
Who you been hugging
Since I been gone
Who you been loving baby
Since I been gone

I refuse to cry
Over things we've done to each other
Guess I'm just a foolish man
Doing every thing that I can
To be your man
I thought I'd leave you for ever
But I found my way back to you
I suspect my sanity has a hold on me
If I can't have you

Since I been gone
Who you been loving baby
Since I been gone
Who you been hugging
Since I been gone
Who you been loving baby
Since I been gone

I suspect my sanity has a hold on me
Since I don't have you

Since I been gone
Who you been loving baby
Since I been gone
Who you been hugging
Since I been gone
Who you been loving baby
Since I been gone

  29. m.... ....

everything from the back up singers to bobby smith to thom bells music was beautifully arranged and crafted.

  30. T.... M....

Truth is, if you didn't know about Bobby Smith, you'd swear the lead was Phillippe (Soul) Wynne. They sing so much alike!!!

  37. T.... G....

THE ARRANGED OF THOM BELL WAS GENIALES !!!

  38. D.... H....

The Spinners don't get the respect that they should. "They had a huge following back in the day when real music was played on the radio. Love them when I was in high school and college. Crazy about this cut!

    D.... H....

Don Hines they did got it throughout the music world, especially at clashes with other groups such as Temptations & four tops,no lead vocalist could compete with Phillipe Wynne on the stage.but if you're hinting about the American music awards well you've a point, Henry Farnborough is the only one alive, it would be nice if he receives such an award represent the rest of his late friends?

  39. x.... ....

Haven't heard this in a minute.
