Spencer Davis Group, The - Gimme Some Lovin' Lyrics
Well my temperature's rising and my feet are on the floor
Twenty people knocking 'cos they're wanting some more
Let me in baby, I don't know what you've got
But you'd better take it easy, this place is hot
I'm so glad we made it, I'm so glad we made it
You've gotta gimme some lovin' (gimme some lovin')
Gimme some lovin' (gimme gimme some lovin'), gimme some lovin' every day
Well I feel so good, everything is sounding hot
Better take it easy 'cos the place is on fire
Been a hard day and I don't know what to do
Wait a minute baby, it could happen to you
[Chorus:]
You've gotta gimme some lovin' (gimme some lovin')
Gimme some lovin' (gimme gimme some lovin'), gimme some lovin' every day
Well I feel so good, everybody's getting high
Better take it easy 'cos the place is on fire
Been a hard day and nothing went too good
Now I'm gonna relax honey, everybody should
[Chorus:]
I'm so glad we made it, I'm so glad we made it
You've gotta gimme some lovin' (gimme some lovin')
Gimme some lovin' (gimme gimme some lovin'), gimme some lovin' every day
Gimme some lovin' (gimme some lovin') I need it
(Gimme gimme some lovin') I need it
Ooh, gimme some lovin', every day, every day

She put her hand to my girlfriend or wife and I said know more
Older music like this is best by far
This is youth music, unlike the noise that passes as 'music' nowadays.

This original version exactly like it was in the radio and the charts then is almost forgotten now because every CD seems to have the other mix with the choir in the backround like the Blues Brothers version, but this here is how it used to be.

DAMN! I MISS THE 60s.
And today we have depressing shite like Ed Sheeran, Justin Beiber and Lewis Capaldi.
This world is doomed as far as music is concerned........
First time I heard this I swear I thought I heard Gimmie Summer Lovin. Live and Learn I guess.
There goes a fender
This goes way back in time ..My hubby and I were in charge of The Pepsi Christmas Party..I said I am in charge of the music ..I got The Blue Lights They were totally out of sight.. They always started with this song.. I never sat down the whole evening. I did not dance dirty but cut a wild rug.. They called me the dancing queen. I danced in step to the music.
Thought this song was sung by a black man! Black men have that great soul sound in their voices, this white man has been heavily inspired by the great black singers of the world! I think that is in itself amazing
Kinda amazing they were English. They sound like they could be from black guys from Chicago or a group of guys from Memphis.
What a top draw tune. Fantastic . MR DESTINY brought me here.
"Chicken wire?!"
Elvis Costello's "Pump it up," sounds like this.
People's Republic of China: I have a bad feeling about this.

I used to play this in jazz band, had no idea it was an actual song. Thought it was just something by a random composer.

That ain't no Hank Williams song.
This song is really sexy to me lol
No, he didn't slam into you. He didn't bump you. He didn't nudge you. He rubbed you. And rubbing, son is racing.
