Specials, The - A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You Lyrics

Walk out,
Girl don't you walk out
We've got things to say
Talked out, let's have it talked out
Things will be okay

Girl
I don't want to find
That I'm a little bit wrong
And you're a little bit right
I said girl
You know that it's true
It's a little bit me, (a little bit me)
And it's a little bit you... too

Don't know... just what I said wrong
But girl I apologize
Don't go... here's where you belong
So wipe the tears from your eyes

Girl
I don't want to find
That I'm a little bit wrong
And you're a little bit right
I said girl
You know that it's true
It's a little bit me
And it's a little bit you... too

Oh girl
I don't want to find
I'm a little bit wrong
And you're a little bit right
I said girl
You know that it's true
It's a little bit me
And it's a little bit you... to

It's a little bit me
It's a little bit you
Girl don't go
no no no no no
Girl don't go
no no no no no
Hey girl

Looking for the music video brought me here

    There was one.

It contains scenes from the movie virtuosity

  6. j.... ....

You know by the first riff that this is a Neil Diamond song!!!

  7. R.... D....

Yes, the Specials had a moderate smash hit thanks to their reggae/rap-inflenced emphasis track, the Neil Diamond-scripted single cut of a Little Bit Me, a Little But You that was first recorded circa 1966 from the Monkees, in fact. Cheers to that, folks!

    B.... H....

    wrongo!

  11. t.... ....

Neil diamond IS the original owner of this song , ,the monkees didnt write any songs,as far as am aware . . . . .

    t.... ....

Micky Dolenz wrote ' Randy Scouse Git' and 'dying of a broken heart' among others, Peter Tork wrote 'For Pete's Sake' and 'Gettin' it' from their 'Pool it' album to name a few, Michael Nesmith wrote a bunch of songs including 'Different drum' and 'Sunny Girlfriend' and Davy Jones wrote 'Midnight' and 'War games.'

    t.... ....

    you are so very unaware

It's one of the worst arguments for the value of any musical act: "____ didn't write their own songs." Well, Frank Sinatra didn't write his own best songs. Neither did Elvis Presley (he may have had some "writing" credits here and there but that was orchestrated by Col. Parker for royalty payments). The Supremes, Martha & the Vandellas, and most other Motown artistes didn't as well. The Beatles started out playing other folks' material while they were honing their writing chops. Ditto Rolling Stones, and, well, the list goes on and on and on. So the bit "They didn't write any of their songs" is a very flimsy fallacy.
