@kram198 Well, the first Soulfly album and Primitive were carrying on the Roots experiment with world music. Omen kind of scraps the world music and goes back to the basics of skull-caving riffing and lyrics.

@marcinleny Well, with "Omen", Max basically incorporated more of his Sepultura era riffs and lyrical themes, particularly from the "Morbid Visions"-"Arise" era. The album post-Max and Iggor Sepultura wish that they made.

@kiklogik I think when conquer come out, max cavalera was alredy releasing the first cavalera conspiracy album so i guess that he put his best tracks on inflikted and leave the rest for soulfly which is cool I mean is his proyect and his music so he can do whatever he wants...

no doubt about it... Dark Ages was their best. Conquer was so disappointing. Rizzo keeps this album alive.. despite so much repetition on the tracks on Omen.
