Sonny & Cher - Something Lyrics

Something in the way she moves
Attracts me like no other lover
Something in the way she woos me

I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe her now

Somewhere in her smile she knows
That I don't need no other lover
Something in her style that shows me

Don't want to leave her now
You know I believe her now

You're asking me will my love grow
I don't know, I don't know
You stick around now it may show
I don't know, I don't know

Something in the way she knows
And all I have to do is think of her
Something in the things she shows me

Don't want to leave her now
You know I believe her now

Mott The Hoople covered this in 1969 on their first album...Sonny must have heard it too!

This is for dhgate2: David, first of all, you are a terrific bassist and you really shine on S&C Live Volume 2. One statement and one question: Throughout my music career, and in many an interview, I have named Matt Betton as one of the strongest and most important forces, along with Elvis' Ron Tutt, The Ventures' Mel Taylor and your own Sonny & Cher band colleague, the late, great Jeff Porcaro, that shaped me as a professional power drummer and it really was from this very album (to this day I can still duplicate each and every syncopation, drum fill and solo on this album which I memorized and polished from the age of 12 when this came out). My question: Aren't guitarists Dean Parker and Dean Parks the same man? Thank you, David Hungate. You're awesome.--Mike Fass (Drummer Bear), Zangief from "Street Fighter: The Later Years"

Thank's GipsTysdaddy21. I'll try to bay those records, thanks. I'm a heavy fan actually, but this song, laugh at me, with this drummer, must be the origin of heavy :-) Ian Hunter also have an amazing version of this song, Live at the holliday club.

This is from the album "Sonny & Cher Live", 1971. There's also "Sonny & Cher Live Volume Two", 1973. Parts of each are on a CD compilation entitled "Cher & Sonny and Cher-All I Ever Need-The Kapp/MCA Anthology". Unfortunately the full albums, Volume Two being a double album, are only available on vinyl. The CD is a double disc set, disc one with studio recordings and disc two having portions of the two live albums.

The drummer on this one is amazing! This must be the best version of laugh at me. Is this on any record/CD ?

Where did this come from? It's their 1970/71 road band--Dean Parks, Matt Betton, Tom Canning, Dave McDaniel. All but McDaniel quit in May of 71....Bert Fanette, Daryll Norris and I replaced them.
