There is lots that make this song/record great --lyrics, tempo, emotionality... but that guitar-sounding-like Bells is So Unique. I have to come back to revisit because it's so unbeleivable beautiful.

Was this song based on Daniel Johnston? I know Sonic Youth has a history with him.

Great song...btw "schizophrenia" is a demon that can be cast out. For anyone who doesn't know- a demon is harmful being inside you that wants to block you from being blessed. Which sounds better to you- embracing our creator and praying in CHRISTS name & getting instant results if you try to end your sins (wrongdoing), or a (short) lifetime of addiction to "medical" drugs & self-hatred? I know which side I'm on- I hope that my brothers and sisters will join me. Peace to all, regardless of belief- love is the cure to an unsound mind

Interesting fact: when Dave Grohl wrote Everlong for Foo Fighters, he initially dubbed it a "Sonic Youth ripoff" to this song. I guess they do sound kind of similar with the chord progression
