This is not Melo-deathmetal. Because if it is considered your stupid band needs to stop EMBARASSING the genre. And I'd actually group this along with bands like As I Lay Dying and Killswitch Engage. For core music this is a pretty ok band, but Deathmetal? Just no, no; you can't even compare this to bands like Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, Carcass, and At The Gates. There's not even any similarities!

Not sure if you're just deliberately being stupid or not. But Soilwork never said they were "Death Metal" nor are they "Metalcore" Soilwork fall under the sub-genre of "Melodic Death Metal"

If you want Metalcore go look at bands like As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, August Burns Red, Parkway Drive etc.

Call me a genre Nazi or what ever your prefer, but they exist for a reason.

Not too happy that Peter Wichers is leaving the band again. Panic Broadcast was (one of)their best albums in years.

I heard about these guys just prior to when they came to ozzfest in 04 I think. Whenever Stabbing the Drama came out. Aww I miss my yearly metal christmas =( Summer Slaughter will never top Ozzfest.

Can't say I agree with you. They've put out a lot of good music since NBC. I absolutely loved Figure Number Five and Stabbing the Drama. This set might not be what your used to hearing them sound like, but I think you just don't like change. It's ok, we all have difficulties coping with some things.

They get better and better! Björn Strid voice improves greatly though every album

This song contains one of the most groove-laden, intricate-yet-simple, rock-out, heavy-ass riffs I've ever heard.

I made up 1/5 dislikes. The Panic Broadcast was a huge disappointment to me. Better off with Sworn to a Great Divide than a futile attempt to re-create their old sound. They are missing a vital piece of the puzzle. Counting the days until their next album.
