This is thrash FFS... In Flames (Jester race era) is melo death. At The Gates (The Red in the Sky is Ours era) is melo death. This is THRASH

@Zekinith92 i know your comment is 3 years old, so know that panic broadcast is out, how do you feel about it? i actually really enjoy it. his vocals are metalcore to the extreme, but the instrumentals are killer in most of the tracks. a song like king of the threshold could fit right in with the chainheart machine album. anyways, what do you think?

While I can understand some of the angst a few of you have against Soilwork and their new direction, especially if you compare it to their older stuff, but the truth of the matter is that Soilwork has evolved and transitioned into something that fits for them. I am a true fan of Soilwork, not just their music, therefor I will stand behind Soilwork no matter which direction they take. You cannot deny the absolute beauty and magnitude in which Bjorn brings out in this band no matter what they play

Steelbath Suicide and Chainheart Machine are thrash. They became Melodeath on Predator's portrait and took their music in a different direction from there.

Soilwork have their roots stapled in thrash. They redefined melodeath on Predators portrait and then started to fail after the success of that album.

Oh wow, I'm stunned. I've known this track for YEARS now, but it keeps blowing my socks off. An instrumental chorus? Where do you find this nowadays. This thing is probably the best Soilwork ever did!

@Zekinith92 The song Deliverance is Mine is fucking great, and its style is quite like their old style, as well as King of the Treshold, andLate For the kill etc.

@Zekinith92 I totally agree. My heart fucking sank when I heard Sworn to a great divide. Soilwork has always been a band that has put out incredible music and never failed to disapoint, they finally disapointed with STAGD. Now that Peter is back hopefully he will save the band with the new album.

really the first album i got form soilwork was stabbing the drama and now im going back to there older stuff,and it reminds me of stuff from stabbing the drama. so maybe its just me but i think they've grown pretty well in there style
