Soilwork - Antidotes In Passing Lyrics
Who cares but sorrow
When you're down and close to nothing
No one will bother
Watching antidotes in passing
Believe me...
They never told me why
I'm grieving
Now where is the light?
Outside the world goes on
It keeps on turning
The feeling of being an outcast
Just keeps growing
Take me home, where the truth unfolds
And steals away the night
Distance keeps growing
Soon I'm far enough to lose it
Am I deserving
Cause I was brave enough to use it?
I'm left without a cause
Believe me...
They never told me why
I'm grieving
Now where is the light?
Outside the world goes on
It keeps on turning
The feeling of being an outcast
Just keeps growing
There must life.. there must be light
Take me home, where the truth unfolds
And steals away the night
Steals away the night

Soilwork Antidotes In Passing Comments
Damn, how close can you get? Thought I hurt alone. Thanks!
My favourite song of my favourite Soilwork album. A masterpiece.
Every now and then I'm visited by a shadowy figure at night in my bed, I cannot move or say a word. It sits at the foot of my bed and just stares at me. I always listen to music to help me sleep, the first time it happened this song was playing and right after he says "steals away the night" at 2:59 when the buildup starts something startled me awake. It felt like I woke up from a nightmare but I was still sleeping, lying there frozen and helpless. I feel like I'm never truly alone now, I don't know if this thing is some sort of guardian angel or just waiting for me to die. Whatever it is, this song now gives me the chills.
My biggest fear of death is not being able to hear Soilwork ever again
One of the best bands in earth
beautiful song
3:05 just beautiful
hey, that part at 1:00 - especially the "Belieeeeeeve meeee", the melody with chord progression, and even the tone of voice remind me of *P.O.D*, but I can't remember which song, anybody got an idea ???
+yoe91 i believe its in the angels and serp. album i know what your talking about i think
+Eo4EFB well thx, I'll go look there when I have the time !
Holy shit. The quality of this album amazes me. I could live the rest of my life without listening to any other songs.
They broke the mold with this one, best album I ever bought.
The solo is a real standout .. nice
you got some of the lyrics wrong but still better then other videos, good job
when i shuffle up my ipod this intro always gets me mistaken by Opeth
The end reminds me of Sonic the Hedgehog :D
This song is amazing. I like the calm sound of this song.
Hell yeah do you like the song called momentary bliss?
"They never told me why I'm breathing" grieving* not breathing
never thought this band would bring out such an amazing album
watch?v=_u4Md_aXVJE intros are almost same
So under rated
beautiful song!
This song is just perfection. The Living Infinite, best album of the year.
... how does "grieving" sound like queefing...
American education at its finest
2:13 "they never told me why, I'm queffing" WTF!
Why didn't they? That's so rude of them.
Don't they?
these lyrics talk to me so much
amazing track. pure perfection.
1:13 - I know it's not what he says, but when I first heard it I thought he said 'queefing', haha.
Love that chorus, solid song all around.
OMG... this song is perfect!
The intro, the lyrics, the riffs, Bjorn's voice...
That's why I'm proud of being their fan, Long live Soilwork!!
Pretty sure the lyrics are wrong in a few places, for example he says "grieving" not "breathing"
