This song punches me in the gut with an odd vibe.

It nailed to the T how it feels when trying to survive and yet being urged to die.... the black flakes falling in those times of distress covering it all slowly, cause at the end all you see it's that, colors and shapes and light fades even if it might still be present, but the black flakes feel just as real... then, that importance that we give it inside us to try to protect and keep faith and hope alive (with the bearded iris flowers), which gets consumed slowly by all the darkness, and the black hands just grabbing you overwhelmingly yet in a weird way comforting manner.... I've felt those hands, I've been in that exact same momentum which has the same eeriness, rhythm and crescendo.... and that moment trying to say something in the only possible way you can because silence has become your mouth's kidnapper and best friend... and the only think you can express is few words, just few words that release you from the darkness you are feeling that will bring you to be "free" from it.... this is exactly how it feels...

Trying to survive that process it is by far the hardest thing one can do, because it is what we want the most against staying in the realm of the living to keep the battle, not knowing if it will ever be truly worth it.... surviving becomes a sacrifice from what we long for the most, from what we know from the core within us that is blissful, better than whichever reality we've been living in pain....

Trick to survive: This might help some who resonate with this video... I find that internal numbness without help from any stimulation nor drug is by far the most effective method to be able to survive through this process, turning off an internal switch as into putting ourselves in "sleep mode" like a computer will... is like being frozen in time inside oneself while allowing time continuity to do its job, until life becomes bearable or even pleasant again, that's the only way that I've been able to "breathe" into life again even after being convinced that nothing is truly worth staying alive for, because to me and many others, while being in that state of pain, even if we know and felt the damage that it causes to lose a life (Two of my friends have committed suicide), it simply becomes a distant echo that just won't resonate with us. Purpose won't be enough to survive, believe me, but stillness in action to heal the pain will, and once the storm has passed and we can breathe again, it is only then that the healing process can begin, cause our method of healing literally is by consuming a lifetime, and it is NOT the real solution.

Stay alive, I know it is unbearably hard, but keep going, the solution is found within life, not the other way around, trust me on this one.

I love how that glimpse of hope is in every shot with the flower being there thats awesome. He had the ability to each for it and he even did in the beginning but then the depression just made it worse.

This was gonna be my last piece of music I would listen to... chucking about 20 pain killers after he says “your too young to take your own life” life was fucked up back then looking now.... but after my parents found me unconscious on the floor (that’s what they told me afterwards) they sent me where everyone goes that does the same thing I do. I actually ended up meeting one of my closest friends to this day and we’re still in contact over almost 2 years ago. Man life is fucked up

I listen to this song more than I can admit. Life is the hardest thing I've ever had to endure. One can only stay strong so long. Your music helps me try, but I'm not living anymore, just suffering. There is no point in fighting to survive only to endlessly suffer. No point.

You are a warrior....and I think you could be a great inspiration to any young person that deals with these demons on a daily basis, and also to others who perhaps can't quite understand what it really is to live under the cloud of insidious fear, desperation, and self-loathing. Okay. For starters, I don't know a lot about social repose. I know a lot of people hate him. I also know that I don't want to know any details, because I don't believe in hate. That said, he seems to be an emo god. This song is not only original and frighteningly relatable, but really good advice far as the music itself goes. The fake wounds and blood in this video could have been better, as could the video concept, but the song itself is just amazing.
