SMOKIE A band that many forget, great lyrics and comfortable listening.

I will soon be turning 73 and not once, in all of my kids' teen years, did I ever hear of this band, or of them listening to them. I just stumbled (no pun intended), onto all of the Smokie groups songs and I'm hooked forever. I'd really like to know if any of them have passed on or, are any of them still singing? I see a lot of positive comments about Chris Norman but, none about the rest of the band. A "band" isn't a band unless all of them are included. Yes, Chris might have been the best looking, in some people's eyes but, I really liked Alan, Pete and Terry, too. Why did they break up? What is the name of the dark haired lead singer that took over when Chris left?
