Do these people only credit DIANA ROSS for THE SUPREMES' songs ? or just DAVID RUFFIN for THE TEMPTATIONS' songs ? *NO* So...why are they trying to DISS The MIRACLES by only crediting SMOKEY....when *ALL* of them recorded the SONGS ?

a gentleman,a songwriter, a master poet,a shrewd businessman, he was a business executive or shall I say a vice president of "Motown" records.
I must say he is a very decent and understanding "human" being
with lots of "wisdom" learned from
lifes experiences some good and
some bad. In addition, to having
understanding and wisdom he understood "human" nature which allowed him to have an "inate" ability to write songs from his and
other persons life experiences.

Smokey you have come a long way from the neighborhood grocery store where you once worked. Needless to say, you and
Aretha Franklins brother Cecil will
no longer have to process other peoples hair as a side "hussle" to

"Stax" records located in memphis,tennessee. Motown
was known by their sweet and sultry music. Stax records was known by there "booming" horns
heard on most of their records and their "gritty" sound on their records.

Smokey to me is my all time greatest singer and songwriter of all time. I can remember in the sixties and seventies him literally carrying Motown on his back writing songs for the temptations Mary wells the matvelettes the four tops the Supremes as well as the miracles. Many of his b sides should have been hits were it not for the volume of records motown was promoting. I believe i.have one of the largest collections of smokey and the miracles records. Many of the lesser known songs like silent partner in a three way love affair give her up promise me virgin man baby come close ever had a dream you.must be love I am I am let me be the clock if you want to make love...all of these songs are classics and no one can write like smokey. I've often wondered when and if they will ever do an unsung about smokey.and the miracles.
