The first time I heard this song, we did it as a Christmas program event at my church when I was young. Years later, I found it again, and it is easily one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time, if not on my list of favorites in general!

Take it from a singer and voice teacher, the 'high notes' in this song are not that high. There were much higher notes for her to sing in the Sound of Music, when she played Maria than this song. And yes she rocks this song. I love it and love singing it too.

Absolutely beautiful composition of voices! Michael is my all time favorite Christian contemporary voice and of course Carried Underwood is favorite country voice but it all comes together beautifully because it praises our Father in Heaven. The 2 of you should do more together as I would definitely support by purchasing and gifting. BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!

Didn't know he covered the song, will check it out. This version is sung by the guy who actually wrote the song though, so he must've captured the feel really well.
