Jesus knew that He did not have to die on the cross. No one forced Him. No one could have forced Him He is omnipotent. But He knew that our souls would die in the pit and that none of us would have any hope at all if he did not. So He did it anyway.

I dont like that part, i think its the exact oposite, by His victory on the cross He stomped on satans head and all evil forever with it. I dont see Jesus like a trampled rose at all. He was never truly alone either. Just my opinion.
