@Deborahgg6 Don't blame the music first off, your son I'm sure had more problems than just the music he listened to causing him to kill himself. I mean no disrespect as well, but maybe you should look at his life and what he had in it (or lack there of) causing him to want to kill himself.

Not one of us knows what we are here for we can speculate all day long maybe the kid ( micah) wanted to die maybe he was depressed maybe he didn't like it here I know I don't. It's a mindfuck all the time.

This was the last song he sent to me before he committed suicide. I was the last person to talk to him before he hung himself. i do not believe that this song should cause suicidal thoughts. its just someone is putting depression into words and when u can do that it is a sign of letting go

I have zero respect for this band. This song attributed to the suicide of a close friend. He felt that the lyrics described his life, and it helped him decide that suicide was the best solution. Find something better to write songs about. If you are depressed, don't market songs about it that convince people that suicide is okay. A song can really create a thought in someones mind and make them make decisions that uplifting music wouldnt really cause them to make. Stop the DEPRESSION!

This genuinely has to be the most ignorant thing I've ever read. You lost a friend, we are all sorry for that. It sucks. What you fail to realize is many of the people who enjoy this song, have a similar connection, be it a friend, or themselves. There is a percentage of people that use this song as a release, to STOP them from doing things. Someone else's words, in a song, did not make your friend choose that path. If anything, you aren't looking at the bigger picture. People feel something, deep enough, that they feel that is the best choice. "Find something better to write about.", again, someone who is capable of writing something like this, wrote it to prevent themselves from doing something worse. You lost a friend, nothing will ever change that. It isn't fair, and it sucks. But many of us, who come to listen to this song, can relate in some form or another, to that same thing....I'm going to chalk this comment up to you being very confused, and sad over what happened, and hope that you don't still view this as such, 5 years down the road. If you do...well then....All I can do is hope you eventually find whatever answer you're looking for mate.

NO reason to be depressed about ho other people are, just stick with who you are, don't change your values. your real mates will be there, but were in a dog eat dog world, dont be sad if you get let down,it's much harder to give and definitely easier to recieve. your true mates are much harder to find. xx and the vutures are always around.
