There is a local radio station that plays maybe 4 pumpkins songs and everytime I hear one it makes me wish they would actually play this song because it's one of my favourites hands down.

This album grew on me a bit slowly but of being there for the release of every album religiously since I was a teenager buying Siamese, this album grew in the deepest and it did it when I felt the least on a day to day basis. Like how am I just remembering that I'm alive, how am I just remembering that I dont give a shit about grammar I just want to feel like this :)

As a huge fan who traveled very far to see them live last year I can't believe I only heard this song because of Rocksmith 2014. What a classic Pumpkins song!

To address the things already said, This was before his reverend guitar, so I bet a shiny penny this is one of his signature stratocasters (With his dimarzio's he designed; you can buy a prewired pickguard with them). That's the guitar. For effects, it sounds like some variation of fuzz. It doesn't quite sound like siamese dream level saturated fuzz with an op amp big muff pi, but I'm sure if you got a op amp big muff, you could get it pretty dang close. Knowing Billy, it's probably through a marshall stack. However, if it's a fuzz pedal he's using, get a clean tube amp and you can't go wrong.

+Steven Siegfried To be honest, i think, that musically, this is probably the most wellwritten record he has EVER done. Of course, they are more proggy than alot of the earlier stuff, but fucking hell it's good. The thing that, to me is lacking on the record, is the very un-dynamic sounding vocals, and i'm not as fond of the lyrics as i have been in the past, but that's subjective.

But again. Musically, this is the best stuff he's done. I mean, are you shitting me? :P This is so damn wellwritten.

On Rocksmith 2014 and it sounds much better than what I expected from 2012 era Smashing Pumpkins which is good.

I really like the songs from this album, but I miss the sense of the bass hugging you; it seems too far back in the sound now. I used to have this thing from Radio Shack, it was a spinning bar in a box that reflected in light, the sound in the room. When I played Gish, the bass would form a 4 leaf flower, yellow with red edges, slowly rotating counter-clockwise. Nothing else ever emulated that, it was harsh edges and squiggles on everything else. I want a flower remix of this album.

Thats my only problem with this album. Love the songs, but Billy needs more agression again

Actually this riff reminds me of the middle part of "Rocket" from Siamese Dream, where it's just the one distorted guitar playing that riff in G maj.
