Gotta say the Pumpkins got me through memories of an abusive childhood, parental figure abandonment issues (3 times) through my teens, depression (twice), a really bad relationship and much more. I thought, well, if I can stay a bit less miserable than the smashing pumpkins, then I would be fine. Sure enough, too! Everything's great now!

Words can't express my feelings for this song,all the positive words I can think of are still not enough to do it justice...I'm so thankful it exists, as with 'to forgive' xx

Adore was a awsome album very haunting, and quiet. Reminds me of Mazzy star.

I was kind of jarred by this style of singing on Adore mainly in Annie Dog, but after a few more listens I thought the soft strained voice sounded like someone who just woke up and they're sleepy and their voice is scratchy and it made these songs even more beautiful because he wasn't just singing the lyrics he was evoking a moment through the style of singing. I don't know many artists who've played with singing style as much as The Smashing Pumpkins have. And I was a great fan of Adore.

You're just really stupid to say that, do you know the Smashing Pumpkins ? Do you know them ?
They are unique, perhaps the only band with such beautiful songs nowadays, ok ?
If you think you're more clever than us you can go away and listen to nightwish, perhaps it will help you to feel better and smarter than us, but you're not. You can't judge things without listening to songs of artists without an objective opinion.
I just want to advise u to listen to their other songs, you'll change ur mind
