I love Smashing Pumpkins, bit I had never listened to this album yet (it's unavailable on Apple Music). It's pretty good, but Mayonaise is still the ultimate stuff.

this album was released the same year as fantastic 4 rise of the silver surfer and transformers (and the reason why i am mentioning transformers is because the first song in this album (doomsday clock) is in the first transformers movie)

Totally underrated song. This is vintage/epic Smashing Pumpkins right here. Better than a lot of their older stuff (surpringly). His voice sounds so good in this song.

Okay, let's be honest, this whole album owned, and we all knew it from the very beginning. No one should keep saying "this album is underrated"....this album is a top Pumpkins album. It just isn't seen that way because it was a "come back album"....i was absolutely hooked on this CD in 2007 when it came out and that is proof enough that it is great if people are hooked.

Sounded like they were trying to go for their classic sound too obviously. Many riffs reminded me of Zero. tarantula, come on lets go, 7 shades of black

Zeitgeist IMO is a good album. Not great album, not the album I'd show to someone to try and introduce them to the Pumpkins, but still a good one.

This album is so unfairly maligned.  It's solid, and this might be might favorite track on the record.  It's strangely reminiscent of AIC (whom I love)

I think music is similar but on a much higher plane.  The right music transcends the physical, avoids all your defenses, and reaches into your inner self and pulls you out of yourself.  

I was not really sold on this being a good pumpkins album but this song brought me out of my reverie to take notice.Someone here posted that this may not be the SP we all love but it is still Billy and still worthy of our love.
