It's really impressive that the song Tribe did with this sample can hold it's own and is as good a song as the original.

I don't think Sly gets the credit he deserves.  Lots of musicians owe him lots.

@ ROCKNROLLFAN, that's not Larry Graham on bass. Larry had his own thing going as a solo artist,when this was released. The person playing bass on this track was a protege of Larry Graham. His name is Keni Burke,from the group the Five Stairsteps.
