One key thing to realize: that's their drummer taking lead vox and on guitar while the bassist sits in on traps. *That's* why Sloan is so damn special.
well i disagree. i see great genius in the insane lyrics of "i am the walrus". of course that's just me. i was wrong to compare bands in the first place. pardon me.
no. i'm quite serious. i think the attempt to sound beatles-ey in this song is plain to see. the lyrics however are dissimilar to the Beatles' lyrics, by which i mean, they aren't relevant or cool sounding.
i love the mood/groove of the song as well as the melody. don't know about the lyrics though. if the lyrics were stronger i'd compare this song with a Beatles composition. Goo Goo Ka-Choo!
