This song isn't bad, I will listen to it again. I listened to a few Christian heavy metal songs including Hillsong covers, and I am really not into them because of the way they are screaming. When I scream in that kind of way I am always really angry. I do not think they are angry at the Lord, but it just sounds like they are pissed off, and so I cannot get into it. These singers do not sound like they are pissed off or angry or mean in this song, it is a decent song it sounds like.

Its quite nice to hear a band who's not doing all the stupid core growling and screaming nonsense and never found how it can really minister to the Christian people. Sleeping Giant is heavy and yet clear to understand its vocals while keeping that heavy sound. I'm going to follow them and read up on them.

Just because it isn't hillsong or contemporary doesn't mean that it is "evil" or "satanic" just because it is a harder style of music. Take Oh, Sleeper for example. They have some pretty heavy music and some of their songs include the defeat of Satan and the reign of God. Now I'm sure if something like that is in a song, it is not Satanic. I love the harmonies in this song and tithemi. 'I don't always listen to hardcore, but when I do...'. I play a lot of the lead guitar parts for hillsong united songs, and that's generally my speed, but I love to bust this out sometimes too. People are being reached through the music, all kinds of music. People who would not ever walk into a traditional church are being reached, now more than ever. Keep reaching out, too many of our brothers are still out in those waters, lost!

Jesus said that God is spirit and those that worship him must worship him in spirit and truth.  If the worship comes from the heart and glorifies God and not man then it is true worship.

This music is far from Christian.  Spouting off some religious lyrics set to disharmonious chants coupled with melodies and rhythms which cater to the flesh is actually no better than pure rock music.  At least the secular world doesn't attach a nominally "Christian" label to their music.  The world loves its own and this music is very worldly. 1 John 2:15-16 exhorts us to "Love NOT the world...."   Even Phil Keggy would probably be appalled by this band.

Isaac Aronson you should have been around in the 80's and 90's. Great metal of all types and hardcore and punk bands of all types praising God in their music. Going to Cornerstone fest in those years was awesome. It's just continued from then.
