deadletterdying nope. They seemingly invented a new religion praising a deity known only as “Sleep”. They celebrate the “finiteness” of things and how everything embraces everything, at least that’s what I got from their lyrics.

Sleep Token is the most similar thing to being floating in my mom's womb before I was born and also from the day I died which hasn't happened yet.

I am ready to worship in Seattle 11/19. See you at the Ritual. It took me two years and 4875 miles to do it.

I like this model of releasing one song every month or so. Keeps me excited and interested.

Dio just so all worshippers can be on the same schedule with their offerings: they have been releasing a new song every fortnight at the exact time of sundown in London.

Ps—For those not wanting to look into it any further, just remember that a fortnight is two weeks time, with the sun going down earlier and earlier this time of year. Stateside worshippers will probably be listening to the 12th and final release off “Sundowning” around noon that day because of the difference in time zones.

I remember when I first found you guys. I listened to Jaws. And because I don't have Spotify Premium, I tried for days to find it again to find a name. I found the name and have been in love ever since I found Jaws and Hey Ya!

It's only a matter of time before this band explodes, this album is game changing. You're on notice prog scene.

2020 will be their year when the rock and metal scene take notice.

Anyone know why they've released all the songs one by one before the album?

It's a release strategy. I wasn't into it at first, but it sort of forces fans to take two weeks to digest each song. When you drop an album it's so easy to ignore tracks you don't like. I wasn't a fan of Dark Signs right away and if there were 11 other songs immediately available I might have just kept skipping over it, but since I had to wait two weeks I listened to it more and it's actually become one of my favorites of these singles.

@Max Gonzalez it's also a great way of building up hype and generating a buzz, therefore attracting new listeners. Imo it's quite brilliant

@Frederick Sippings doubt it, he had no isssues hitting the higher notes. Plus he changed the lyrics to "Don't lie to me" to "Don't you lie to me", not a massive change I know but to me it made a difference.

Theo Cedillo yes! Up until the release of bloodsport(the last song off of Sundowning), they came out with a new song every other Thursday along with new merch. But now that the album is fully released they are probably not going to be releasing songs for a while
