I give, I’m a fan now. Found you randomly when you released The Offering. At first I thought it was interesting to say the least, but checking out the earlier stuff I was just on the fence for some reason. I think it’s just because I normally don’t listen to whatever style I regrettably labeled the music in my head, and after all the releases I’ve come to terms with the journey about to come, this is going to be a beautiful masterpiece and getting to experience it from start to finish is an honor undeserving of myself.

This album is been such a euphoric experience so far. They did really good with The Offering and Ive been starting to think that song might be a bit of a play on the title in its own right. I think of it like the offering of more contemporary metal for people to find them. But idk tho.

From a purely metal standpoint, sure, but this band isnt strictly metal. They compose as storywriters so this music tends to fall into a long buildup, climax, falling action, then fade to end format. Its not music that can be approached from one standpoint strictly.

Corey Walvatne damn. I actually really liked being surprised by the song title/album artwork the day it came out but I couldn’t help myself and I looked up the tracklist. Now trying to erase it from my memory so I can be surprised again lol. I had a feeling bloodsport would be the last song they released on the album tho.

@John Kuchler i assumed sundowning would be final track title to follow theme of naming each "album" released after last song. Haha and i also thought Bloodsport would be a b-side. The chorus was so meh on that one

I’ll hold out on making a judgment til I hear the studio version but I agree it is a little underwhelming for the last song of the album. Although Vessel sounds like he’s almost in tears when he sings it live so maybe it’s super emotional and means a lot to them.
