I was standing about 3 feet from these guys at a show in Louisville Gardens in '74 or '75. Right in front of me. Never will ever forget it.
Jimmy Lea is often overlooked ... a top guitarist and able to play the electric fiddle ...and he wrote a lot of good songs.
He played Bass. Dave Hill and Noddy played the guitars. Lea played a great piano/key board also.

These guys were HUMONGOUS in the UK but never got all that big in the U.S. Saw these guys at the Calderone on Long Island back in the day and I can tell you, they KICKED BUTT and TOOK NAMES! Like a lot of "second tier" bands of that era like Mahogany Rush, Foghat and Savoy Brown, they're not as remembered as well as they should be.
I still think the runaways cover was better than Quiet Riots
