Slade - Find Yourself A Rainbow Lyrics

Find yourself a rainbow, find yourself in that pot of gold
When you're there you're there to stay, anyway
You'll find yourself start changing - all you need to do is take a hold
Things get better day by day

And then you'll know that this time is the right time and the place to be
Pick the flowers, there's no hours, just remember April showers
Climb upon that rainbow, slide on down to that pot of gold
You keep smiling, come what may . . oo!

And then you'll know that this time is the right time and the place to be
Pick the flowers, there's no hours, just remember April showers

Find yourself a rainbow, a song a day and you won't grow old
You can wish your cares away

Open up your dreamland, it's so easy just to find the key
All your troubles turn to smiles, what to do is
Let go all your heartaches, it's as easy as being free
You don't have to wait a while

Smoke filled pubs, sideburns, flares and dodgy motors. It all came flooding back! Well done boys, brilliant!

  25. l.... ....

can anyone write a more upbeat song than Slade , l think not ,always loved this song ,and most of all ,their great attitude, thats why they couldn't play early Punk ,they could never sing about being pissed off ,they kept that shit to themselves ,and refusued to burden the fans with it...

    l.... ....

Very true ,they were never `arty` . I mean Dave Hill said he was never trying to be a guitarist like Clapton etc he was interested in entertaining people. It should also be noted they invented texting !

  26. b.... ....

One of the reasons, when I'm asked, what is my favourite Slade album this one is always the first to come to mind. Perfect songs aplenty!
    Truly wonderful.
    Long live The Mighty Slade!!

  27. c.... ....

Unique song by a brilliant band that is unfortunately mispercepted and very underrated, one of the best and most versatile rockbands in the history of pop.....thank you for uploading!
