Slade - (And Now The Waltz) C'est La Vie Lyrics
(And now the Waltz)
He will never be free
Yeah, he'll always want you
He'll always need you
The last night together, we made love until dawn
My nights on the town made you cry
Let's make love one more time, before I say goodbye
[Chorus]
C'est la vie
Ooh cherie
C'est la vie
Another time - another place - ooh
We'll be together again - you never leave me, baby
We'll start all over again
We talked of the fun, oh, we'd had
Remember the good times - we remembered the bad
My two timing ways made you low
Let's make love one more time before I have to go
[Chorus]
C'est la vie
Ooh cherie
C'est la vie
He will never be free - never never
Yeah, he'll always want you - I'll always want you
He'll always need you - I'll always need you
Another time - another place - ooh
We'll be together again - yeah
Another time - another place
We'll start all over again
C'est la vie
Ooh cherie
C'est la vie
Ooh cherie
C'est la vieeeeah!
He will never be free - he'll never can
Yeah, he'll always want you - I'll always want you
He'll always need you - I'll always need you
He'll always need you - I'll always want you - wouwouwouwou!

I was 10 years old :) listened to the B side of this album over and over and again. Thanks for the upload!!!
more classic slade
I was a Slade fan from way back into the early days, I never realised how much a song could mean, now, 32 years after splitting from a fellow Slade fan, this means the world, because we are back together again, Noddy and Co, love you!
Beautiful song, if this came out in the 70's its would of been another number one for them,
Sadly this song never made the British charts
Number 50 in December 1982.
Yea it did no 60 😝😝🙋🏻♂️👍
That was meant to be 50 not 60
Sadly, when I saw this band open for Ozzy, the crowd treated them like shit. I was very ashamed to be part of that crowd. All because they broke out the violin during Run, Run Away.
This was always one of my favorite songs off of KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF MY POWER SUPPLY. Great song, great album, GREAT BAND!
should be in hall of fame, best live group ever
You mean they're not? Glaring omission.
Great song!!
still have the "keep your hands of my power supply "cassette..classic
I had the tape and liked it so much I bought the CD!
say lovey, hehehe...
one of those songs I just can't seem to get out of my head.
come on fans, more thumbs up. this week I look for my slade DVD to upload!
brings back memories of when i started work !!!!! eagle house st. helier jersey , channel islands....! the building site !!!1
@carlphone i agree slades 80 s music was there best sound
@MrKingkong1955 I keep saying it, the 80 s Slade music is from another planet! There is nothing better for me and I have listened to all the "legends". Slade engineered a whole unique gospel/anthem style. Their music had so much depth, that they could give their careers an entirely new direction. Eighties Slade is so much overlooked!
just amazing song one of my fav cant stop listening to it all so love universe amazing song writers i wonder what there music would be like todays crap music scene
WUNDERBAR
another lovely bit of music from Slade
