One of my favorite love songs of all time.

I had this on one of my favorite mix tapes back in the 90's and I wanted to recreate it by putting all the songs in iTunes. Wherever I got the mp3 of this was copy guarded so I bought it again on iTunes and was shocked to find it was a different mix. Instead of starting off with the thumping bass line it starts off with other samples and as the song starts the "lovelovelove" sample is already full volume. I'm sure it sounds great but when you're so used to hearing the original, especially in the context of a mix tape you've hard a thousand times over the years, it's kind of jarring. Anyone know why they used this different mix?

That may be the version that appears on Bites.  "Love" appeared on both Bites and Mind The Perpetual Intercourse.

Me & my boyfriend just watched this movie yesterday & I immediately knew where I heard those words. I grew up listening to Skinny puppy in high school & im only 23, my bf is 41, and I was like a kid showing off a cool toy with my realization. Plus this is my favorite song, never knew it was from a movie.
