Truly one of my most favorite Skinny Puppy tracks. From the very first time I heard this, I felt as if it was Ohgr's Love song. It was mainly, because of such a huge separation I was dealing with... I did love her the, during the split, and after our break up. She was the one I felt I was living for. Thank you to anyone who took time to read this. Thank you Ohgr, Key, and Dwayne. Rest in peace Dwayne. I always have you on my mind.

In 1999 I had a Mazda B2220. It had two Kicker 10,s behind the seat, two pioneer 6x9,s in the corner post and two profile tweeters on the dash. this song was a true rumbler.

The last album by Skinny Puppy. Everything else is OhGr under the Skinny Puppy name. I do like OhGr, but I like Skinny Puppy even better.

You guys are noobs. Last rights was a drug addled mess. Cleanse, Fold, & Manipulate was their peak, possibly Vivi Sect VI. Process was an awesome album though, don't diss on it.

Joseph Gray this guy gets it. Parts of L.R. seem like T.G.'s D.O.A. if it had been made in the late 80s. It was my first Puppy experience so I still have a great affinity for it with all of it's flaws. CFM and Vivisect ? Yeah. Tops.

Bites was the best. The fact you don't mention it invalidates your credibility.

Last Rites will be my favorite because of what I was going through at the time of it's release.  It wasn't my first SP record but it resonated with me because of struggles I was going through at the time.  I know it comes across as very uneven and disjointed, but the emotional breakdown of Knowhere sums up my life at that point.

To this day I still can’t believe how this album was ever poorly received upon its release. IMHO, I still, to this day, cite this as one of the most perfect examples of Industrial music.
Yes, Last Rites, Land of Rape & Honey by Ministry, and Caustic Grip by FLA were also flagship recordings for the burgeoning post-New-Wave Industrial movement, but it can be argued that The Process is what they hoped to achieve.

I remember just before Dwayne died and before the album was out, they put up a low-fidelity clip of where the guitars come in (back in the early days of the web) and me and all my friends were horrified that The Process was going to sound like The Scorpions or something. it's a pretty great song on its own merits though.

For me, this album is all about "candle", "cult" and "amnesia". There are strange beautiful and poetic vibrations in these three songs.

Man this takes me back to being in junior high, I would stay up at night listening to this realizing there was a whole new world in music. Never knowing music could be so dark and erie. I would stay up all night listening to this, in goosebumps the whole time.

This is such a beautiful album, the most original of any industrial out there. This album fills you with emotion you never knew existed

I always felt this album sounded too conventional. Doesn't feel like genuine SP. Being a die hard Skinnny Puppy fan, Last Rights was their real album as far as I'm concerned.

The Process is really the only SP album having all these guitars, the others are really more electronic. That's why I love this album, it feels quite unique... It sounds also a lot coldwave to me too, it's very sad and dark... OH DO I LOVE THIS ALBUM

Hmmm, guitars, as someone just into SP, I only had Too Dark Park, and that is all electronic. I think I might like that better. This is alright though, just will have to listen a few times to get it
