After the release of Somewhere More Familiar, I became obsessed with the CD. At that time, I had a bunch of friends from Finland whom I would drive to work and out for fun all the time. When the summer was over, I bought more than 20 extra copies of the CD to give to some of the Fins that I drove around every day so they'd always remember the car rides. That CD was almost always playing in the car. Great memories.

I have likely heard this album 100+ times through from my youth alone (11-13 ish). I'm back for more 20 years later.
I became obsessed, too. I've likely bought and lost the album 5 times, lol.

One of the best songs from 90s.

And this is a perfect song for several segments of Turkey, after 1980s, consisting of adults with “spoiled brat, ungrateful” souls who are never ever happy even at the times they should actually be happy.

So glad that growing up in Gainesville, FL has blessed med with some of the best music. From Tom Petty to Sister Hazel.

They play on the Maadam Carol. I remember being on the lake as the boat would make the laps around Lake Freeman when I was married. I always wanted to go out on the Maadam but we never did. Now I am in a wheelchair and I dont think its handicapped accessible. Oh, the memories!! I love this song!!!

What a great band! One of the many solid, kick-back bands from the 90's. Sister Hazel, Hootie and the Blowfish, Gin Blossoms, Goo Goo Dolls, and others all made great music that music fans from ANY era can enjoy!
