see this is what I don't understand...I'm in my 40's...I listen to this and I'm like, this is badass...this is freakin awesome...but most modern music I'm like, wow, what absolute crap...someone has a drum machine and is spewing random crap lyrics...in my heyday...bands put out music constantly that had a great riff or beat or lyrics ...in this day and age it's way more miss than hit...u can't tell me I"m too old to appreciate new music cause I hear things here and there that are awesome...but most is SHIT...wtf?

to qualify my remark...artists tend to sample fantastic riffs etc...that being the case, what I would ask is, what tunes will be sampled in 20 years because of their incredible beat / groove / riff?
