Today 2018 and The Scream has exactly the same power to hypnotize my senses and my soul it had when I first heard it in the 1980s.
One of the most powerful album in my life.

Kaleidoscope you mean? No matter Scream or Kaleidoscope, Banshees just keep being relevant throughout the passage of time again and again

to me this is what goth is all about. driving bass and drums, textured guitar, a listless sax, and a beautiful bellowing voice that leads you through empty dark streets. atmospheric art punk.

What's so "goth" about this song? It's sounds pretty much like a happy go lucky skip along song.

One of the very first songs that got penned for Kaleideskope in assistance of Robert Smith (who did`nt get credited). Born out of the sessions, when he had to jump in the band, when Morris & Mc kay left.
