Sinatra was just a class act, a man's man ( and I don't mean in the shity 21st century interpretation of the phrase either), from whom many men can learn a thing or 2 today . he is of a time before political correctness destroyed the natural order of things, when a man didn't have to be ashamed of being a white male. he could just be himself and express himself as such. God bless you Mr Sinatra, thank you that I was able to experience those days before the end.

Always feels like he's just talking...Donny or Sam would have given it the avant guard, emotionally intellectual, wrenching sophisticated reminiscence he sings of....his plaintive lyrics don't match this jaunty beat....

Wish people in my school talked about Frank at my school. I'm a 13 yr old middle schooler. As a smaller child, I was blessed with a huge family that made me listen to this.

Nothing compares to the sounds of Frank Sinatra. The best of the best! Love this song. Easy listening.

It's freezing in NYC. But all one has to do is listen to 'Ole Blue Eyes to get that nice, warm feeling. . . The orchestration is great of course, but if you listen closely you'll notice that it's the bass that holds it all together. Right from the intro. . .It describes what a "2-beat feel" should feel like. And then the man goes into a masterful "walking-bass" style. And all is good with the world. . .

I may be 30 years old, but this was my tune all summer long last year, since I had the courage to talk to my crush from the University a few years back. Luckily we had a few dates, but she didn't loved me back. I tried to win her over, but failed miserably. This takes me back to those unforgettable moments of intimacy. I've been sad and depressed last summer, but a guy can dream as well. Better late than never I guess.

I was listening to Michael Buble, whom I enjoy very much, singing this. Towards the end a recording of Frank Sinatra joins in. It was like looking at great master's painting after rummaging through a folk craft shop. All due respect to Michael, but there is only one Frank Sinatra.

You can see why Frank and Nelson worked so well, that brass and wood wind something special. Frank only sang with the best r and orchestras with good reason i would say 50% of his success depended on it.
