Sinatra, Frank - Send In The Clowns Lyrics
[Spoken intro]
This is a song about a couple of adult people who have spent, oh, quite a long time
together, till one day
one of 'em gets restless and decides to leave. Whether it's the man or woman who left is unimportant.
It's a breakup.
Isn't it rich? Are we a pair?
Me here at last on the ground and you in mid-air
Send in the clowns
Isn't it bliss? Don't you approve?
One who keeps tearing around and one who can't move
But where are the clowns? Send in the clowns
Just when I stopped opening doors
Making my entrance again with my usual flair
Sure of my lines
Nobody's there
Don't you love a farce? My fault, I fear
I thought that you'd want what I want, sorry my dear
But where are the clowns? Send in the clowns
Don't bother they're here
Isn't it rich? Isn't it queer?
Losing my timing this late in my career
But where are the clowns? Send in the clowns
Well, maybe next year

Why is this a sad song for the Joker? 😭
Haunting and beautiful❤️
Great song, I've just finished watching the Joker movie and it was brilliant! Every scene was great and the storyline moved at a good pace. The two scenes one at the hospital and the talk show, holy shit! 😱
i am the clown
Imagine that the pinnacle of your career was cheapened by a B movie 30 years later. Let Frank rest.
CLASSIC NEVER DIES.
This song is worth much more than a movie.
Bro just finished joker and first thing I did was listen to this
"All I Have are Negative Thoughts."
Joker director: "yeah, this song is good, but I think "the joker" loves 'jock jams"
When JOKER Finishes.
0:22 Roll credits.
"So, buddy. Tell us. What's so fucking funny?"
"You don't ever listen, do you?"
Mad respect for the man responsible for this music choice of Joker.
“They couldn’t carry a tune to save their lives....”
How about another joke Murray?
Hearing it at the end of joker was beautiful
What's so f-ing funny?
Envie os palhaço tem tudo a ver com o filme coringa bela canção do Frank Sinatra
He's 57 here and the material he chose reflects that as does the depth of his performance. Critics go on about his albums from the Fifties, but for my money, this is the best Sinatra album ever. Imho.
Lightning in a bottle...
Historical dance
Movie of the decade or best movie of all time, that shows a Mirror to these people on "What's right and what's wrong the same way on what's funny and what's not funny"
0:50 we were all here for that part
Joker bought me here.
tell us buddy, what's so fucking funny?

I don't know what the hell "Joker" is - just that this is a beautiful song.
ok boomer
The worst part of having a mental illness is that people expect you to act right as if you don’t
*"You wouldn't get it."*
"Tell us, buddy, what's so fucking funny?"
Joker and frank sinatra...good job
Yo this song makes me wanna liquify a former co worker in front of a midget
Joker. (But I thought he killed the midget also? No?).
*Those who danced were deemed insane by those who could not hear the music*
Joker send me here.
99% Comments: saying about joker
BUT IT'S GOOD
Murray one small thing, when you bring me out can you introduce me as joker.
Love this song....haunting. RIP WT and FS ❤️❤️💕💕
Shots were fired. 3 wall street bullies died.
jokers bringing back sinatra!
How about another joke Maury
What do you get when you cross a mentally ill person
YOU GET WHAT YOU FUCKING DESERVE
At the very least, at least the Joker movie got even just one more person into listening to Frank Sinatra. Maybe not at all times, but they respect him now.
Best movie, Joker! Oscar is coming.....
I Can’t believe how many old songs they picked for the movie....and I love it!
¿Alguien más después de ver Joker?
💙Tammy
It goes so well with joker movie that it feels like he sung it for the movie

Such a depressing song when you actually look into it
Moral of the story: Do NOT fuck with a clown on the subway.
Perfect credit music
live......fuck you, bring it back.
I'll fight for it
Where is the live
It is amazing how relaxing was this end credit sound after every disturbing thing that happened in the movie, I was crying while I was wondering why I couldn't leave the sit
Always say a little prayer for you frankie
When someone makes a joke on twitter
Originally written for my beautiful cousin Glynis Johns. So moved to hear this Sinatra version in Joker.. I just had to stay right to the end of the credits.
Nobody cared who I was until I put on the clown makeup
Who is here from joker
🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
The soundtrack for joker was amazing!
Where are the clowns? Theyre in thier Rooms, putting on thier underwear, fruit of the looms lmao
Barbara’s version is so much better. Flawless. Not feeling the Sinatra version.
Knock Knock

It’s the police ma’am, your sons been hit by a drunk driver, he’s dead
Oh, no no no, no you can't joke about that.
Impressive Tree I’m sorry, it’s just, it’s been a rough few weeks.
play it at 0.75 speed...sounds like it’s from joker....your welcome
2:50 you clowns
Enjoy the song instead of everyone quoting the same shit from a movie 👌
You wouldn't get it.
"Joker quote"
-joker
Such a great bitter sweet ending
“ILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU GET,YOU GET WHAT YOU FUCKING DESERVE.”
My friend is a clown.
"I thought my life was a tragedy... But now I realize it is a comedy..."
Let's just face it. Joker made this song popular and relevant again.

Isn't it rich?
Are we a pair?
Be here at last on ground
You in mid-air
Send in the clowns
Isn't it bliss?
Don't you approve?
One who keeps tearing around
One who can't move
Where are the clowns?
Send in the clowns
Just when I stopped, openin' doors
Finally knowin' the one that I wanted was yours
Making my entrance again with my usual flair
Sure of my lines, no one is there
Don't you love farce?
My fault I fear
I thought that you'd want what I want
Sorry, my dear
Where are the clowns?
Quick, send in the clowns
Don't bother, they're here
Isn't it rich, isn't it queer?
Losing my timing this late in my career
And where are the clowns?
There ought to be clowns
Well, maybe next year
Thanks to Joker, Frank Sinatra's legacy will continue to live on!

"What do you get when you cross a mentally ill loner with a Soviet that abandons him and treats him like trash?!?! I’ll tell you what you get! You get what you fucking deserve!!!!!"
Great Song! Thanks to Frank and Joker!
Sad that a world needs a film to discover the master.
There should be a sixth sense called taste , where Frank is the sign of
This is really nice but I actually prefer the other version Sinatra recorded with just him and the piano. His voice wasn't in as good of shape, but I greatly prefer the arrangement of that one. This one tends to drag at some parts, and generally I feel that sometimes less is more.
Have to admit, Joker brought me here. This is a beautiful song
I remember when a singer sang this song. on tv. many years ago. a famous clown die. forget which clown tho. the singer had tears streaming down , as the singer perform this song.
Arthur: hey murray can you do me a favor
Murray : yeah
Arthur: when you bring me out, can you introduce me as joker
Murray: joker I like it we'll go with joker.
Arthur: how 'bout another joke murray
murray: no I think we had enough of your jokes
Arthur:what do you get when you cross a mentally ill loner with a society that ABANDONS HIM AND TREATS HIM LIKE TRASH
murray: get the police
Arthur: I'll tell you what you get, get what you F*****g deserve. GUNSHOT
Audience:AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
