This song means real love two people who shares life together through the actions of there daily actions the children they share the meals knowing the other is there at the end of the day Frank captures this the tempo is perfect OC Smith's version is good Frank's is perfection!!!

Dean Martin does a great version of this but something about Sinatra's that really gets you.

Yes, beautiful, BUT...when Dean Martin sings it, it sound as if the song actually happened to him, that he LIVED it.

Dean Martin’s version is my top choice, then Tom Jones then Frank.

Tom Jones had one of the best set of pipes in the business. Unfortunately they were wasted on him. Every song was an excuse to show off. Good taste is acquired; he ran with what came on the house, the pipes and his good looks. Both of them were blessed across the boards. Dean not only sang well, he could act and was a comic genius whose timing was second to none. Sinatra got there first and knew if he was going to stay, he had to get to work. He did. Many fine singers have come down the pike since. The best among them have all taken a little something from the guy who did his homework, his way, the Gold Standard when it comes to interpretation, Francis Albert Sinatra, personal preferences notwithstanding.

A great version, however I disagree that this is the best version. I encourage you to listen to Dean Martins version. It will quite literally take your breath away. Studio version, listen to the reaction at the very end by those listening and witnessing Deano.

When Frank sings "little green Apples" you feel as though he is actually living the part and that you are in his Home as he starts his Day with his wife and Kids.

LOVE this version.There may be so-called "better" interpretations but they don't tug at my heart like the one here.That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it.

There were arguably better voices but rarely if ever better "interpretations" once Frank turned in his homework.

There are many versions of this on you tube but this is by far the nicest. Nobody ever sang a love song like Sinatra - beautiful.
