Sinatra, Frank - All Of Me Lyrics
All of me
Why not take all of me
Can't you see
I'm no good without you
I want to lose them
Take my arms
I'll never use them
Your goodbye
Left me with eyes that cry
How can I
Get along without you
You took the part
So why not
Why not take all of me
All of me
Come on get all of me
Can't you see
I'm just a mess without you
Take my lips
I want to lose them
Get a piece of these arms
I'll never use them
Your goodbye
Left me with eyes that cry
How can I
Ever make it without you
You know you got the part
Used to be my heart
So why not
Why not take all of me

All of Me is a beautiful classic American song. It is all. Why so many questions?and Frank Sinatra too, a classical singer. It is not mandatory everybody loves them( song and singer) I like a lot all American classic songs and several singers at any time: yesterday, today and tomorrow. All of Me is a composition created in 1931! And I'm happy today, 2019 that I can listen to again and thanks to the Internet!
came here after Going Spaceward version
We sang this song in my barbershop group! One of my favorites
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMEK-POmrRE
This must’ve been when Frank was making like every other singer in that era and trying to copy Bing Crosby, thank god he found his own sound
The picture at 1:40 kinda resembles iDubbbz
John legend wants to know your location.
I love it
Larry Dallas sent me
R.I.P, my great grandpa. I'm listening to this now just for you, this was your favorite.
Dyme Official Music he’s smiling right now brother
@rossac93 I agree
Here for the same reason
I found this song from finding a video of a 94 year old aunt sing this.
You people need to chill out and stop being so bitter.
I usually love looking at comments but seeing this is genuinely upsetting. As a choir student who adores music, seeing such insults to modern day music or to older music is sickening.
Everything changes and accepting it really helps. New music promotes all new ideas while old music can provide inspiration and help us learn.
Maybe you can stop generalizing modem day music with all the rap and look into the other genres. There's country, soft lo fi, and so on.
Stop being bitter and look at the world with new eyes.
My band played this. Like.... school band. It was amazing. I'm the bass and it was epic.
What key is this version in? I want to get the sheet music for it, but I see it listed in Dmajor and Aflat.
@novusmundi This version is in Bb Major.
I like how at the intro the lyrics begin and then the brass just kicks in smoothly. Just pure testosterone and class. No autotune.
❤️🐇
y'all lizards talking bout john legend i'm here thx to nofx

Your goodbye left me with eyes that cry
How can I get along without you
You took the part that once was my heart
So why not, why not take all of me
💝
Gonna sing this for my Mamacita on our honey moon, hoping she'll faint so i can catch her lol
HEY YOUTUBERS! This video has nothing to do with John Legend. Go be angry somewhere else. You're not welcome here.
Thanks so much for posting !
This is such an amazing song! Why, oh why does it make me think it should be in fallout lol
I got to play this for jazz and it was so fun
I'm 13. I love this.
The one and only!!!
NOFX brought me here
No one sings like that today and that's a pity
Why are people sleeping on Old Songs that are so comfortable to hear?
So this is what Redd Foxx and Scatman Crothers were singing on Sanford and Son.
i showed this to my classmate yesterday and im in 12th grade then he said my music type sucks, well jokes on you michael i prefer old songs like this than dumb songs you listen right now.
Fred Sanford bought me here! ✊🏾
Impersonators years ago always seemed to finish there act with this song
This has nothing on the Joe Williams version
Lily Tomlin brought me here
Loved the movie too with Lily Tomlin and Steve Martin...classic
Fred song it better off Sanford & son
i had this song in my head for an entire year once
Fuck jonh L xd
2018 stills 1000x better than trap and reggeton, xd.
You ugly Baby-Boomers are disgusting. In one sentence you praise Sinatra, and in the other, you show scorn and hiss at John Legend. Aren't you ashamed of yourselves to be so childish? How repulsive. I respect Sinatra's music and Legend's music, without getting tribalistically hung up on the music of my age. For shame.
This was prefaced with a guy who has a business to impeach Donald Trump. I hope he impeaches all the Californicators first. At least Mr. Trump is a good businessman!
This new age pop trash music, can't stand it
I'm 12 and I love this "all of me" way better than the john legend song.
Love this!!!! Frank was the BEST!
Me gusta mas la version de billie
There's a great version of this piece by the greek jazz (swing) band The Speakeasies' Swing Band.
Pop standard that is also very very Jazz back when Frank had 100% of his vocal range. Just wow!!!
Damn this isn't how I remember Shadow's theme
I don't see it referenced in the comments, so I gotta recommend you all listen to the version of this song by the punk band, NOFX
video of a jazz trio playing it
https://youtu.be/o_5f60hAaks
Where could I find this version, I only know the one from “Swing Easy”
Whovian 007 it was on a CD I bought 11 years ago. I’m not sure anymore about the edition. Sorry
Where is Steve Martin he wrote a whole movie about this song....
for once I'm not impressed. Billie Holiday had a much stronger and emotional tone in her version.
who's the trumpet players?
2018 Frank Sinatra . :')
Was this track recorded with the Count Basie Orchestra?
Bill Ruxton good question, no idea. My bad !
The Muppets brought me here.
“A man honors his debts, Anthony”
Porque esta canción me da depresión?
SEXXAAAAAAY! I prefer listening to these types of music.
this has been one of my favorite songs since i found a radio and turned it on and it played this song
Who’s here form Andy Altig?
This song has nothing to do with legends song . 2 completely different songs
M-A-S-T-E-R-P-I-E-C-E!!!!
So many covers of this song, I love them all. Nofx turned me on to this years ago. Check out olive me Nofx 🤘🏻

i've heared this song in french version by a woman at a bar
Bones owned this. I do really wish Dino had a good live version of this kicking around somewhere though. Hello to all of you fellow listeners, may I say that you all have impeccable taste

Golly Gosh,i'm 15 and i wish the same thing but in the 20s and 30s!!! Give me high✋😄😄😄
Shut the FUCK up
Me too!
My dad played the piano and sang this song a lot, after my parents divorced my dad left to D.C... The house was vary quiet and I missed my dad. He still visits but I play this song to remember him when he is gone.
oldi but goodie!!
i understand its normally sung by a female, but why is this tagged as comedy?
Because I was 13 years old when I uploaded this video and did not understand how youtube worked haha
Will you people stop comparing John Legend's to this cover by Frank?! They are 2 totally different tracks that just happen to share the same title.
They do not have the same title. The selection sung by Francis Albert and his peers is entitled "WHY NOT TAKE ....all of me. Legend' is simpy the last 3 words of the Sinatra (older) song.
GamerDogeYT that made no sense
@Skribz H
Willie Nelson’s version is the definitive one.
oh my god this is paradise to my ears ..
I first heard this song on the soundtrack of the 1984 movie by the same name, but I like Sinatra's version so much better... he had such an incredible voice! I used to listen to Michael Bublé, and his music got me into jazz, but singers like Sinatra and Louis Armstrong were the kings of it :)
ella fitgerald did it first just saying
I think Billie Holiday did it before Ella
@Elisabeth Seaton Billie really did it the best.
It's Friday, so it's some time for the some Frank Sinatra to start the day just right.
gen halilintar bring me here
So much better than the John Legend song.
d4997 You know, I used to think the way you do as well, until I heard about Maslow's Heirarchy. When one has gotten past a level of needs, they can focus on the next one, and so on until they've reached true peace. For so long we focused on wars, recessions & depressions, gang violence, genocides, etc. But we're (mostly) over that now, which is in itself an overwhelming accomplishment for the human race. So now that we have gotten over one level of our needs (physiological/safety), we can focus on a higher need, love/belonging, esteem, and/or self-actualization. Don't judge all modern music on a few radio hits, and don't assume just because we don't have any wars or self-inflicted economic disasters that music is no longer any good.
Red Duck To be fair a lot of modern songs aren’t that good even disregarding words. Going too heavily on the synthasized sounds takes a lot of expression from the music.
@Donovan Plumlee Yeah, I can see that. All depends on what kind of music you look for and where, as there are still pure swing and jazz songs being written today. But mostly modern musicians have incorporated the new 'instruments' available to them, and it tends to take away a lot lf uniqueness or, as you said, genuine emotion from the song.
Ben Israelson- true
no one said otherwise... it's also better than baby shark.
