I guess you can now call me an old fart that grew up in the 80s. And i'd like to say that today's kids don't appreciate good music like my parents told me. But I can't say that. Because I see so many youngsters loving 80s music. It brings a tear to my eye!

The 80’s were the best, I was in my 20’s and I had the world by the tail. I truly believe 80’s rock, technology (music videos etc) and guys with long hair😋 and the decade was for the most part peaceful and happy, at least that’s what I remember. Music by Simple Minds, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Damn Yankees, Duran Duran, Night Ranger, Poison, and so so many more, lifted your spirits and made you happy, and that I think helped set the tone for that decade. I truly miss so much about that time. I try listening to the music of today and to me there is something missing and I get bored as hell. Thank goodness for our memories and for places like YouTube to find all the great songs again that made me so happy, and to read others comments of remembering the 80’s like I did. When I hear the songs I am 22+ again, I feel like a kid (as long as I don’t look in the mirror - LOL).

I remember hearing a song once, and seeing this young woman dance to it. I completely fell into love with her. She was obviously a trained dancer. and no, i wasn't at a strip club. it was a high school dance, I was 20., my friend had invited me to his family's annual trip to Cannon Beach, OR. It was in Seaside OR that there was some H.S. dance, and we looked young enough. We liked dancing, and when I stood there against the wall, all of a sudden, I was completely blown away when i saw this young woman dance to this song. Every time I heard the song, her beautiful name would come to my thoughts. Young love. Just honoring a tender moment.
