Une énergie considérable, ils tiraient une énergie titanesque dans les choses plus simples. Il portent bien leur nom. Je ne veux pas commencer à me perdre dans des comparaisons diverses et variés mais Simple Minds reste un groupe nettement plus sain à écouter que bien d'autres. Même Depeche Mode a tendance à pervertir un peu parfois.

Good question. Jim Kerr's songwriting moved away from the abstract (ex: 70 Cities As Love Brings The Fall) to a more concrete themes (ex: Speed Your Love To Me, you know it's a love song...kinda,lol) Only he knows for sure

I played this CD (one of the 1st CDs I ever bought) until it would not play no more...I wore it out!!! I can listen to some of these songs now and close my eyes and immediately go back to that time in my life in 1985/1986 in Myrtle Beach.

One of the best songs of Simple Minds, though not as well known as others. The whole album is one of the masterpieces in pop music history.

Is it just coincidence that they haven't been this great since Derek Forbes and Mick MacNeil left???? The REAL musicians.

This is one of my favorite SM tracks. This and C-Moon remind me of a hybrid of ska/ reggae and a little dub for good measure...

For me Once Upon A Time is Simple Minds at their prime. All songs drive me to another time, another place.

When I first ordered this album online I thought it was a compilation of the groups greatest hits (I thought it was the Glittering Prize Album for some reason) but I got this by my mistake. What a great album-all the tracks-it takes u to another time and place-tracks like Oh Jungleland and this one are some of the great tracks.
