I first heard this while I was struggling to keep a relationship going with my ex. He had been playing around with me and leaving me for other girls over and over, he was manipulative and after two years of that shit, he finally fucked up big time. I got the guts to break up with him and told him that as much as I wanted him to stay, I couldn't let him. He asked why, so I said that it was because I was tired of him just running back to me whenever he pleased. I told him I wasn't some love sick puppy and I wasn't going to be treated like one anymore.. My friend is always telling me to get a backbone and well, I'm thankful I did. Cause now that I look back, I wanted to marry him, and if I would have it would have been a lot worse. Not to mention he was starting to throw me around and call me names and shit. Just glad thats over.
