I'm impressed at how good this cover is. As an A7X fan, I prefer the original of course, but this is pretty damn good especially considering I didn't know who these guys were before hearing this.

If nobody has heard this full album yet I'll give my rundown on all the tracks:


1 - Fozzy - Shepard of Fire:
Well done, cover. Vocals are a little off but other than that it's pretty spot on.


2 - SHVPES - Scream:
A-ma-zing. Best thing on the album by far.


3 - Betraying the Martyrs - Bat Country:
God awful. Butchered the original song.


4 - Upon A Burning Body - Reminissions:
It works I guess.


5 - Brutal - Almost Easy:
If the vocals were slightly better mixed then it would challenge this for the best spot on the album. Seriously good cover.


6 - Charcoal Tongue - Brompton Cocktail:
Just doesn't do it for me.


7 - Harbringer - Burn it Down:
Not good. Not as bad as Bat Country, but still not good at all.


8 - As Everything Unfolds - God Hates Us:
Interesting having a female voice on an A7X track. Amazing cover.


9 - Skywalker - Afterlife:
No.


10 - Sworn Amongst - Second Heartbeat:
They turned Waking the Fallen into Djenting the Bland Hard Rock


11 - I Fight Bears - Unholy Confessions:
Again, it works. Not terrible, but it's a decent enough cover.


12 - Greyhaven - Hail to the King:
Not a fan. I can see where some appeal is but it ain't amazing.

The Betraying the martyrs cover was brutal asf and unique tf you talking about

@Kerry TheCreature nah it was awful. They absolutely ruined the blend of clean vocals.

@Junkyard Pearls don't really care for cleans, the gutturals made it brutal

Great, but would it have killed them to turn the bass up during the solo section since it was playing the part of the solo that was not there?!

I listened to all the covers.....gave me brand new respect for Matt Shadows, Jimmy Sullivan (whom I already respected as a drummer/songwriter/backing vocalist) and the rest of the guys in A7X. Clearly, their style won't be touched or matched. By the way, that solo cut was disheartening. If you didn't wanna do the second part of the solo, at least execute the first one right. That's just me though.

yeah this is really solid. deserves more views. the others are good but this is really well done.

As I said on UABB's cover, from a HUGE Avenged Sevenfold fan, I am very impressed. Well executed,despite the second part of the solo not being there, i still think this is a 10.

Pretty good cover , with the exception of the solo in my opinion , everything else was pretty fucking great !

The bass doing the second part of the solo was fuckin' rabid, sick job lads

These guys have an absolutely kick ass vocalist (kinda sounds like the dude from Fall Out Boy tho? the fuck). sets it apart from and way above the other covers

They really did, that song is no doubt my favorite off this album.

Almost easy was good besides the vocals. I liked burn it down bat country and remenissions. Afterlife and god hates us sucked
