Shocking Blue - Eve And The Apple Lyrics

In the garden of Eden
The black snake talked to Eve
He said taste a big apple
It won't give you any grief
She said

[Refrain:]
No, It ain't mine
But a taste must be sweeter than wine
Well she took the apple
And we lost paradise
Well she took the apple
And we lost paradise

Every boy and girl
Ask their mom and dad
About a place here on earth
Where little Eve once said

[Refrain]

And the sun went down
In that world of light
And the sun went down
In that world of light
And the sun went down
In that world of light

In the garden of Eden
The black snake talked to Eve
He said taste a big apple
It won't give you any grief
She said

[Refrain]

  23. christiane stamm

    Ellen R.

Ich schließe mich der Aussage an. Bin heute auch etwas älter ;-)
Thanks for upload. nice memories of my youth!

    Melancholy Man

Me too. I had forgotten how much I like them, all so talented. I am glad I am not the only one who enjoys their music. We have wonder pictures and videos of her/band.

    László Horváth

@paula oates You know I'm from Hungary. Her father was a famous Hungarian violin master of gypsies and though she was born in Netherlands I'm so proud of her and her roots. SB had brought a vivid colour plot in the world crowded of the American and English bands playing an individual style. I adore them!

    paula oates

@László Horváth  That is so cool. I knew her father was famous, Is there any music on line that I could listen to. I just received a book on Robbie van Leeuwan, and I am excited to read it. It is too bad they are not recognized as they should be.
