For me this album is the pinnacle of „classic-indie-rock“. It might not be the most innovative or original record but it is beautiful and perfect :) One of my all time favs!

The Shins are great at being able to create vivid images in people's minds with their music. Very difficult to do, but the Shins are just that great!

This song really isn't very deep once you look into it, it's just about a loner who creeps/annoys everyone around them, if you want a deep shins song try "Mine's Not a High Horse"
I think this song at least is extremely clear. If you want the lyrics I could send em to ya...most of the place on the internet get them wrong...which seems odd to me as from what I've seen Th Shins post the song lyrics in their albums...so anyone who's bought the album should know em.
It's easier to figure out what they're saying than it is to figure out what they mean by it though, They're alwasy so cryptic and deep.
I love these guys!! Two complaints though, 1)the lyrics are almost impossible to figure out which can be really cool don't get me wrong, but when I'm humming 'em in school I'd much rather be singing the words. 2) they should make longer songs!!!
