It is a bit depressing how few views the tracks from this album have. What is not depressing however, is the comments from my fellow Shins fans on these videos. I bet many of you have been fans a lot longer than I have, but it's always nice to go to comment sections on basically any song by a band and have good vibes flowing. I'd expect nothing less from people listening to this excellent band.

Talkbox Gaming Thought exactly that while playing the bass part. It has a slight prog feel to it with the whole notes and the double quarter notes every once and a while.

It definitely pops off nicely on an LSD trip. Trust me.

@Isaac Chavez growlers are one of my favorite bands but the growlers don't even fall anywhere near the category of the beach boys lol

The Growlers have a surf-rock/garage rock vibe to their music. Not Beach Boys per sé, but they have similar vibes and genres.

Once you realize that the Bb and the Eb voicings are very similar, it gets a lot easier. Then all you need is a little stretching.

this song is very personal to me, at least in how i relate to the lyrics. my whole life i have been a very smart and high achieving person, or so i thought before i met ppl better, and now each failure makes me feel utterly useless. i know i shouldn't think this way, but i can't help think negatively, esp at night and it's hard for me to keep fighting and remember that i'm not living my life for others. i feel like i can really relate to this song, as if james is singing to me. it's a warm song
