My wife and I had 3 miscarriages in a year and a half (after having 2 completely healthy children). It made no sense to me why that would happen (psa: no religious affiliation at all) and now we are also raising our nephew because of drug-related issues.


A year ago, my wife and I got tattoos, because the miscarriages were 15-17 weeks in, and I got a microphone with 3 roses surrounding it with each name above each rose. Written on the micophone are the lyrics: "You were just a small bump unborn."


Only tattoo I have and I couldn't be a more meaningful piece.

At first, I liked this kind of songs because it sounds good, it's from the famous singers. But since then, I slowly started to listen to songs carefully. Listening at how each word sounded and knowing what it wants to deliver while it was getting sang made us feel the song. While listening, I'm smiling. Remembering people who I can relate with songs. This song just gives me joy. This song made me realize that not all I want to say can be delivered by saying it. Ed Sheeran songs just helps people like us. He writes not from his own experience but for all of us who had and who could experience. It gives us courage to face the problems we are in, the problems we made, and give the best solution we can give. Truth is what always wins. Truth will set you free. Truth might hurt but will always heal you. So this song, even though I don't have a child yet but only a sister 11 years younger than me, it solidified my wishes for her. To make it all for her best.

Hey dude I'm not trying to be mean but going around on other peoples work to promote your own is not something you should be doing. I checked you out and you have some real talent but you need to find other ways of getting your music out there because promoting your work on other peoples work is kind of shitty. Just some advice hope you get famous one day because you really are very good.

Secret kid?). If he is it’s no ones business but still... the clues are there.

Twelve babies, and only two lived. Loved every one of them, even if it was just for a few minutes. The two that lived have given me three wonderful grandsons between the two of them. I live vicariously through those boys!

Sorry for all of the miscarriages that have happened I would never with that on to someone I hope everyone gets what they deserve. For my mum it was her joy song for when she found out she was pregnant with my sister.

The sudden reveal right before the end of the song really nails the unique pain of losing an unborn child. You spend so much time dreaming of what they'll be like, look like, think like, and then in a second it can all fade away. As humans we're just not equipped to deal with that level of devastation.

My mother had numerous miscarriages before she had me, so this song has always held a lot of meaning for me. I grew up just thinking my parents were so good to me just because they were good people, which is true, but I found out when I was much older that I was the last time they were going to attempt to have a kid. So, by :making it" I became their miracle, and they were just happy to have a chance to finally be parents and appreciated every second with me.
