Classic shaky. I once had a white cat called shaky. She was my world. She lived from 1983 to the year 2000. She was just 17 years old when she died. I still miss her and often think about her.

Hard to believe that this _wasn't_ a top forty hit. But then, this came out at a time when radio stations - pretention wankers that they are - had deemed him not "cool" enough to play. This was before the internet so promotion was non-existent. I LOVE that 'Old Media' are terrified that they're losing power and control to new media. Although thanks to Trump, the balance has shifted back in the US.

Good point well made Jamie, and in fact, had this been released a few years earlier, it probably would have been a hit for him. Things changed so fast in a matter of a couple of years and Shaky's chart success started to decline

I grew up in Canada and first discovered shaky in the early 80's but this is the first time I've heard this song and many others I've just discovered on youtube. Dammmmm, there's so much music I've been missing for so long.

When ever I play Shaky's music I will always get people who are not familiar with it ask me who it is and comment "I need to get me some of that"
